I have also been working on a 4 foot length of paper in collage and paint on the floor as I was unable to stand to work.
With memories of a trip to Istanbul, the impact of the ancient Hagia Sophia, once a cathedral, then a museum and now returned to be a mosque . The personality of Sophia and a fascination for icons has led me to create a 3-person image of the divine, probably women. This piece of work made its way to the framers this week.
